Paintings and Art by Kseniya Ali

“Being expressive is so crucially important for everyone, even if you think you do not have a talent at something – you can still participate in the activities and experience the process. It is  always in discovering something new, that we find out about ourselves.” – KA 2021

Artist and Painter Kseniya Ali
Kseniya (Kovalevsky) Ali is an extremely talented visual and graphic artist. She was born and raised in Ukraine and came to Ontario, Canada at the age of 17 with her parents and brother. She is now a mom to three amazing kids with one being an adult already; which is absolutely crazy for her to accept. Kseniya knows this is a circle of Life, and she is so grateful for her babies that will always be babies to her.

Kseniya’s love for arts and music started very early in life as her whole family was very talented in many fields of Art. She started studying arts in a multidisciplinary art and music school when she was 5 years old where her major was piano. That school has shaped her in the most amazing way that she will forever cherish and be grateful for. Kseniya still loves to play piano, sing and dance – as if her life depended on it; And it actually does!
“Being expressive is so crucially important for everyone, even if you think you do not have a talent at something – you can still participate in the activities and experience the process. It is  always in discovering something new that we find out about ourselves.”

Kseniya picked up her brushes again and started to paint on a regular basis after she found out that her baby girl has a rare genetic mutation that would impact the rest of her life. Kseniya’s painting sessions became part of her healing journey. The more time she spent painting, the more she realized how much she felt lost after her daughter’s diagnosis, and how much she was now enjoying finding and bringing herself back.

“The time I spend in  front of a canvas is extremely important to me. All my emotional pain disappears and transforms into  something magical.”
Kseniya loves the process and the outcome of her creations, and it makes her so happy when someone else finds healing and inspiration in her work. Expressing herself through her paintings is important to her and she always looks forward to future projects.

“When we hear the word “Goddess” we imagine someone so magical and extraordinary. I don’t  think of myself as magical and extraordinary, but my life sure is extraordinary and I wouldn’t be  surprised if some magic happened somewhere along the way to get me where I am today.

I do believe  that considering all the circumstances my life has put me through, I am a survivor and everything I was  able to achieve so far, I consider a huge success. I am a Goddess because I withstood the difficulties and overcame challenges even though I was so close, many times, to giving up… really giving up. I found out that I have the strength to move mountains and my imagination has a lot to do with  it.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the  world.” This quote is by Albert Einstein, and I fully support it.

One of my Goddess qualities would be using my imagination to heal and inspire others through art.

Be bravely limitless in expressing yourself and, over a sudden, the world will become brighter and overcoming challenges will become easier. You are a part of this World, and your uniqueness is needed since you are here, so bravely shine your colours and enjoy the process. This is my advice as a Goddess.” – KA 2021
